I was at SAHS for only two years as the Asst. Principal in charge of discipline and student activities. I have so many wonderful memories of my time there, and I remember with much love so many of the students. I think I was not always very popular with the students because of the nature of my work, but I had a great time there. I left SAHS in 1986 to return to CONUS, worked then for the AL State Dept. of Education in Montgomery, AL. I married Joe White (USAR, ret.) in 1988, and I moved to Atlanta, and worked for the GA Dept. of Education for a couple of years. In 1991, I became the principal of a Lutheran school in Atlanta, served there for 13 years. Then, got a "Divine Call" to serve as principal of a Lutheran School in Huntsville, AL. Joe and I came here in 2004, and because of some back problems, etc. I retired in 2007. We are loving being in Huntsville. If you ever are in this area, please let me know. We are in the phone book. It'd be great to hear from you...even my "regular customers." I love you guys. Would love to see you at the reunion. We're going on an Eastern European cruise in July. God bless you all!
