Phil Roh - Class of 1987

I learned that Phil has a heart transplant at an early age. Phil attended the 1998 SAHS High School Reunion in Las Vegas and said it was the most fun he's ever had in his life. While at the reunion, Phil told me he had a crush on Sherry Hubbard back in high school. Phil passed away from heart failure only 2 weeks after the reunion.

Things I remember about Phil: he took lots of pictures for the yearbook (including a very embarrassing one of me with my perm)... his trenchcoat and piano key scarf that he always wore ...his love for Dr. Who... his insane intelligence and dry wit. We had a great conversation in Vegas in '97 and I remarked upon the fact that he hadn't aged one bit, and that part of that may have been due to the fact that he looked 25 when he was 16! The ravages of time had hit the rest of us but Phil was still the same.It was quite a shock when he passed away soon after, but I know in my heart that he was happy to have seen all of us so recently. There wasn't one person who didn't know him and wasn't thrilled to see Phil again. What a great guy.
