In Memory
Christopher Kent Taylor, 61, died February 3rd, 2024, with his family and friends by his side. Chris was born August 5th, 1962, in Bangkok, Thailand on a military base to parents Jack and (Bok Ryun) Kim Taylor. After moving from South Korea, the family settled in Lawton, OK. Chris made his career in the technical side in the television industry, and eventually made Tulsa his home. After many years at KOTV, he left to work in video transmission with Lumen. Chris was a Christian man and would try and counsel those who would listen about the word of God, and donated regularly to the John 3:16 Mission. He was known for his humor, compassion, and empathy. Chris was an avid gamer, hosting game nights with friends on a weekly basis for 33 years. He also enjoyed home projects, reading, and taking his friends and family out to eat. He loved to feed people and would insist on a “to go” dessert. Chris is survived by his two daughters, Noel Taylor, Kadie Taylor, his sister Kim Bryan, and his ex-wife Kathy Trevino, who he remained close with as a family unit even after the divorce. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Kim Taylor, and his brothers Mike Taylor and Jay Taylor (also Seoul American High School graduates).
