The daughter of Army CSM Bill Craig, Gail traveled the world and attended three high schools, her favorite of which as SAHS. Even at 70 years old, Gail was an active member of the SAHS Facebook Group and proudly wore a Falcons t-shirt. Gail graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a degree in Geography. She married LTC Jim Krempel whom she met at Ft Hood TX. They had a son, Keith, and two wonderful grandsons, Grayson and Elijah. In addition to being an Army wife, over the years Gail was a teacher, bank manager, and retail sales manager. She and her husband supported the Boy Scouts of America for 35 years as adult leaders. Gail passed on 15 December 2025 after a lengthy illness. She will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
