Corry Bodroghy - Class of 1972
This is shared by Corry's daughter, Whitney.
Corrine Bodroghy (Corry) was born September 11, 1954 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and was the second child and first daughter to her parents. Corry grew up in an Army family and spent almost the entirety of her childhood abroad. Corry and her family moved from the US to Laos followed by Indonesia, Thailand and finally Korea where Corry graduated high school. Growing up Corry loved anything to do with horses – she was a skilled equestrian rider and polo player. Eventually, she returned to the US and spent much of her adult life in Northern Virginia. It was there that Corry married and gave birth to her daughter, Whitney. Corry’s marriage then brought her to the Bay Area in California, where she had her son, Curtis. Corry divorced and continued to be a loving and fun mother to her children. Corry always volunteered in the classroom and went on all the field trips. She also enjoyed camping with her children in the redwood forests of California. Corry died suddenly on November 25, 2010. Corry’s children will remember their mother for her sense of humor, caring nature, love of animals and interest in the world.
Corry is survived by her daughter, Whitney Eich, of Las Vegas, NV, her son, Curtis Eich, of Newark, Ca, her brother Robert Bodroghy of Fredrick, MD, her sister Kathy Bodroghy of Vienna, Virginia, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
