Susan Tepping, Class of 1962, died on September 6th, 2016, in Atlanta, Georgia, of thyroid cancer. She was a published music scholar, a respected composer and performer, and a much-loved music teacher.  I had lost touch with her after SAHS, but we reconnected about a year before she died. There are a number of very moving tributes to her on her Facebook page.
