Tammy Thurston passed away Jan. 6, 2006 of cancer. She was born in Tripoli Libya Africa on Sept. 24, 1958. She spent her childhood moving every 2-4 years. She settled in Tucson, AZ after earning her PhD in English. She taught at Pima Community College at the time of her death. 

Survived By: Sisters: Tracy, Tenley, Tiffany. Parents: Robert and Betty Thurston Son: Rob Carmichael, his wife Betsy, and her grandson, Robbie Carmichael
