GREENWOOD LAKE, N.Y. - Leonard J. Gause, 44, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at St. Anthony Hospital. A carpenter for Donna Lee Development, Bernardsville, N.J., he was a resident of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., for seven years. He was a member of Carpenter's Union, Local No. 964, New York City, N.Y. He was the son of Edwen and Solange Leeineau Gause and was born Nov. 16, 1956, in Fouras, France. He is survived by his wife, Karen Handel Gause of the home; one son, Jesse Gause of the home; two daughters, Holly Gause of the home and Sara Gause of Williamsburg, Va.; one brother, Andrew Gause of Midland Park, N.J.; one sister, Barbara Little of Gloucester, Va.; his parents of Gloucester, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
