OROVILLE, Calif. - Johnny Russell Patrick, 64, of Oroville died Monday, June 10, 2013, in Oroville, Calif.

Johnny was the son of George and Fern Patrick, who were missionaries in Korea. He was born in Amarillo, Texas, and had lived in Seoul, South Korea with his parents until he graduated from Seoul American High School and moved to California. There he met and married Colleen O’Neill, whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. George Patrick, and a nephew, Ricky Thorson.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen of Oroville; his sons, Troy Batti of Oroville, John Earl Patrick of Boston and James Kelly Patrick of Oroville; his mother, Fern Patrick; three sisters, Diana Jolly, Charlotte Ruby and Connie Thorson, all of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews.
